These Vienna piggies-in-blankets are perfect for the lunchbox

Little Vienna piggies-in-blanket

Makes 24

Ingredients:

  • All butter frozen puff pastry sheets, 2 x 250 g sheets 
  • Woolworths Smoked Viennas, 500 g 
  • Milk for brushing 
  • Tomato sauce, to serve
  • Vegetable crudité, to serve

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 200C. 
  2. Cut the viennas in half and portion the defrosted puff pastry by cutting it into 6 rectangular pieces. 
  3. Wrap the viennas in the puff pastry – be sure to pinch the edges together where the pastry joins.
  4. Brush with milk and bake for 7–10 minutes until the puff pastry is golden. 
  5. Serve hot or cold, with tomato sauce for dipping and your little one’s favourite veggies on the side – celery fingers, sliced cucumber or carrot sticks will all do.
