These Vienna piggies-in-blankets are perfect for the lunchbox
Little Vienna piggies-in-blanket
Makes 24
Ingredients:
- All butter frozen puff pastry sheets, 2 x 250 g sheets
- Woolworths Smoked Viennas, 500 g
- Milk for brushing
- Tomato sauce, to serve
- Vegetable crudité, to serve
Method:
- Preheat the oven to 200C.
- Cut the viennas in half and portion the defrosted puff pastry by cutting it into 6 rectangular pieces.
- Wrap the viennas in the puff pastry – be sure to pinch the edges together where the pastry joins.
- Brush with milk and bake for 7–10 minutes until the puff pastry is golden.
- Serve hot or cold, with tomato sauce for dipping and your little one’s favourite veggies on the side – celery fingers, sliced cucumber or carrot sticks will all do.
