Easy to Cook oxtail with mash 3 ways

We all love a hearty Sunday lunch but, honestly, who wants to spend hours at the stove? This Woolies Easy to Cook Slow-cooked Oxtail does all the work for you – and with a choice of 3 delicious (and quick!) mash ideas, what more could you ask for?


Easy to Cook Slow-cooked Oxtail

Take one Woolies Easy to Cook Slow-cooked Oxtail and cook according to the package instructions.

Serve with one of the following easy and delicious mash ideas. 

1. Instant broccoli mash

Take one bag of Woolworths Frozen Mashed Potato, add to a saucepan with 1.5 cups milk and salt and freshly ground black pepper. Stir over medium heat until the mash becomes creamy and smooth. Fold through 300 g steamed and blitzed broccoli florets. Drizzle with nutty burnt butter and serve.

2. Loaded sweet potato and pumpkin mash

Heat one serving of Woolworths Prepared Sweet Potato and Pumpkin Mash according to the package instructions. Top with 150 g pitted Kalamata olives, 100 g crumbled black pepper feta and chopped parsley. Dig in!

3. Creamy crushed potato mash

Microwave 700 g bag of baby potatoes according to the package instructions, plus a few minutes extra to get them really soft. Crush the potatoes, add the remaining garlic butter from the pack and fold through. Stir through 2–3 T crème fraîche, season with salt and fresh black pepper and garnish with 10 g chopped chives or spring onion. Yum!
