  1. Egg Farmer: 
    Dr Ruben Mahlare is an egg farmer, farming Bosveld chickens just outside Bela Bela in Limpopo. While his business is still small, with only 10 000 chickens, the Woolworths Enterprise Development programme continues to assist him in growing his business.

  2. Potato Farmers:
    Together with his father and brother, Thomas Bergh supplies Woolies with three delicious varieties of exotic potatoes from their Patrysvlei farm just outside Clanwilliam. They’re passionate about farming for the future and use modern water-saving methods.

    Who doesn’t love Woolies pickled fish? The man behind the winning recipe, Garry Rae, supplies all our deli fish products from his world-class processing plant, making sure the fish that goes into it is responsibly sourced.

    From telecommunications to farming in the Magaliesberg, Jimmy Botha is a true success story...living his dream. Five years ago, Jimmy didn't know what baby spinach was and now he's providing healthy, top quality baby spinach to Woolworths stores.

  3. Master Chocolatier
    As a master chocolatier, Kees Beyers supplies Woolworths with chocolate made from UTZ cocoa. UTZ is one of the world’s leading sustainability programmes for coffee, cocoa and tea. The programme enables farmers to learn better farming methods, improve working conditions and take better care of their children and the environment.
