This conversion chart will do the maths for you, for perfect results every time.
Weights
1 oz (ounce) = 30g
4 oz = 110g
1lb (pound) = 450g
Volume
1 fl. oz (fluid ounce) = 30ml
5 fl.oz or 1/4pt (pint) = 150ml
20 fl.oz or 1pt = 600ml
1 cup US = 240ml
1 pint US = 480ml
1 quart US = 950ml
Cup measures
1 cup flour = 150g flour
1 cup butter = 225g butter
1 cup brown sugar = 175g brown sugar
1 cup granulated/caster sugar = 225g granulated/caster sugar
