Preparation time: 15 minutes, plus overnight freezing time

Method:

  1. Dissolve the espresso and the sugar in the boiling water. Add the regular water and stir. Pour into a freezer-proof dish and freeze overnight. 
  2. The next day, use a fork to scrape the frozen coffee until you have shaved coffee ice. Divide between four short glasses and top with the flavoured coffee milk. 
  3. Dollop with whipped cream and sprinkle with hot chocolate. Drink up!
