‘Boba’ Tea

TEA – ‘Boba’ Tea

Preparation time: 20 minutes + 2 hour setting
Ingredients:
For the Jelly:>
- 2 x Woolies Rose Petal & Vanilla tea bags
- 2 x Woolies Hibiscus Petals tea bags
- 2 x Woolies Blueberry Infusion tea bags
- 3 x sachet gelatine powder or leaves
- 330 ml tepid water
For the cold infusion:>
- 2 x Woolies Blood Orange Flavoured Cold Infusion tea bags
- 2 x Woolies Watermelon Flavoured Cold Infusion tea bags
Method:
- To make the jelly, line a small dish with clingwrap. Make 1 cup of tea with each flavour. Allow to cool slightly, then whisk in the gelatine until dissolved. Pour mixture into a lined dish or silicone moulds. Place in the fridge until set. Slice into even cubes or use a melon baller.
- Prepare Blood Orange Flavoured Cold Infusion Tea and Watermelon Infusion Tea. Fill a glass with ice and jelly shapes, pour over cold infusion and top with sparkling water. Garnish with a slice of lime and fresh mint.
