Curtain Buying Guide
When choosing curtains, many factors must be considered. Factors such as sun exposure, type of room & interior décor play a big part in your decision. If your room is exposed to a lot of sunshine, a curtain that will block out these rays should be considered, so that the room won’t heat up so much.
In bedrooms, people normally choose darkening curtaining, made to keep the maximum amount of morning sun out of the room.
For living room, curtains are a matter of personal choice, from sheers, jacquards to colours & décor to compliment your room. For the dining room, use red to keep guest energised & excited. For kitchens & playrooms, orange & yellow are refreshing & revitalising. Green is a calming colour, ideal for living rooms. Purple signifies richness & transformation, which is ideal for the spiritual rooms.
Match your curtains with the season to freshen up your mood. Use heavy fabrics for winter & lighter fabrics for summer. Utilize warm colours for wintertime & lighter colours for spring & summertime. Shades of green at spring, shades of red, orange & pink at summer, shades of white, grey & metallic colours for autumn and shades of blues in winter are recommended.
