Perfect Bra Fit

Wearing the right bra will help you feel comfortable and supported. Your clothes will fit better and you’ll have the confidence to take on the world.

Our 5 step check for a good fit:

  1. Centre – this should sit flat against your chest and not feel too tight. A great fit is when the wire rests comfortably on your breastbone.
  2. Cups - If your breasts are spilling out the top, you will need to go up in cup size, if there’s extra space in your cup, you need to go down in cup size.
  3. Underwire- this should be under your breasts and not on it. If it feels as if your breasts could fall through the underwire, go down in cup size, and if the wire is poking your underarm area, go up in cup size.
  4. Bra band – this should sit straight around your body, feeling firm but comfortable with enough space to slip two fingers under the band when the bra is fastened. If your bra band is riding up your back or too loose, you need to go down in back size. Your shoulder straps should feel secure enough not to easily slip off your shoulders but not tight enough to dig into your shoulders.
  5. Bust – the perfect fit is when you can take your straps off your shoulders and your bra stays in place and still supports your breasts.
