Become the ultimate braai master with Woolies Lekker Braai Master Kit

Ingredients:

Meat Master Lamb Chops with cheat’s panzanella

  • Easy To Make Lekker Meat Braai Kit 
  • Meat of your choice (we used free range lamb rib chops) 

For the cheat’s panzanella 

  • 1 loaf ciabatta, sliced into chunks and torn 
  • 1 red onion, halved 
  • 1 red pepper, halved and charred on the braai 
  • 1 230 g jar whole Nocellara Di Castelvetrano olives in brine 
  • 1 100 g jar Non- pPareilles Capers in Wine Vinegar 
  • Red wine vinegar, for drizzling 
  • Olive oil, for drizzling 
  • Salt, for seasoning 

Method:

  1. Dry rub half the lamb chops (or other meat of choice) with Smokehouse BBQ . The seasoning on all sides, cover and allow to cure and marinade for at least 4 hours, or overnight in the fridge. 
  2. Prepare your wood or coals to medium -heat. 
  3. Just before braaing, baste remaining chops with Chipotle Basting Sauce on all sides using the basting brush.
  4. Add chops to the braai. Baste with the sauce regularly until cooked to the desired doneness. 
  5. Remove the meat from the braai and place on your Braai Blaai.
  6. To make the cheat’s panzanella, toast the bread on the braai. Char the red onion and red pepper. Mix together with the remaining ingredients. Season to taste.
