Try these 2 fantastic chicken burgers
If you’ve always felt that the chicken burger is the slightly neglected cousin to the superstar beef burger, then we’ve got news for you – these chicken burgers are juicy, delicious and absolutely loaded with tasty toppings. Burger night will never be the same again.
Spinach & South African feta free range chicken burger:
Cook the burger patties in olive oil until golden brown and cooked through. Serve on toasted Ultimate burger buns with a dollop of labneh, sliced tomatoes, baby spinach, cucumber ribbons and feta.
Sun-dried tomato free range chicken burger:
Fry the patties in a splash of olive oil until golden brown and cooked through. Make a herby green sauce/dressing by blending: 1 tub of sour cream, the juice of half a lemon, 10 g each of fresh basil, parsley and mint, sea salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste, 2 T olive oil and a splash of water if needed to loosen. Add a generous dollop of this sauce on a toasted burger bun, along with the cooked patties, lettuce, a nice big piece of fior di latte, marinated sun-dried tomatoes and thinly sliced red onion. Dig in!
Serve with loaded veggie fries:
Cook frozen sweet potato chips according to the package instructions, then drizzle with the remaining dressing and dust with grated Parmesan.
