Easy, cheesy spaghetti & meatballs
Few dishes will hit the spot quite like a hearty dish of spaghetti meatballs on a weeknight. This version is beyond easy to put together – and you can go a bit ‘extra’ on it as well.
The weekend/indulgent version:
- Follow all the same steps as the above, but take it one step further by drizzling with tomato puree for extra moisture.
- Add a handful of rosa tomatoes and press in slices of mozzarella cheese.
- Bake at 200C until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Dig in!

Your weeknight spaghetti with meatballs:
- To make the meatballs, either panfry 12 beef meatballs until cooked through, or place them in a casserole, top with 375 ml Woolworths Tomato & Basil Pasta Sauce (and a jar of roasted cherry tomatoes if you want) and bake at 180C until cooked through and bubbly.
- Meanwhile, cook 500 g spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Combine the sauce, meatballs and pasta and mix well to coat.
Tip: for some flavour boosting, scatter with caper berries, fresh basil pesto and grated pecorino or other hard cheese.
