Snoek on the braai? Smells – and tastes – like summer!

How to braai whole snoek with zesty tomatoes

Serves 4 
Preparation: 5 minutes 
Cooking: 20 minutes 

Ingredients:

  • 1 Woolworths Lightly Smoked Whole Snoek
  • 500 g Woolworths Exotic Tomatoes, roughly chopped
  • 2 sticks celery with leaves, roughly chopped
  • 100 g black olives, pitted
  • 3 T olive oil
  • 3 T red wine vinegar
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
     

Cooking instructions:

  1. Oil the fish braai grid and place the snoek inside. Braai over medium coals for 5–7 minutes per side. 
  2. While the fish is on the braai, prepare the salad. Toss together the tomatoes, celery, olives, olive oil, red wine vinegar and seasoning. 
  3. Serve the fish on the zesty tomatoes, with braaied garlic bread, or flake the fish and serve in toasted wraps.
