Serves 6 to 8
Preparation: 15 minutes
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 Woolworths Malva Milk Tart Cascading Cake
For the decorations:
- White chocolate drops, to decorate
- Woolworths Edible Gold Shimmer, to decorate
METHOD:
- Melt the white chocolate drops gently in a double boiler or in a bowl over a saucepan of simmering water, stirring regularly.
- Spread the melted chocolate onto a sheet of baking paper and sprinkle with the edibel gold shimmer. Allow to cool until chocolate is still soft but starting to set. Roll the baking sheet into a cylinder.
- Once the chocolate has set, open the paper quickly so that the chocolate breaks into shard. Toss more white chocolate buttons with more edible gold shimmer.
- Place the chilled cake on a plate with a lip to accommodate the cascading sauce. Run a straight-edged knife, previously dipped in warm water, between the cake and collar. Pour the caramel sauce on the top of the cake and top with the cookie pieces.
- For the big reveal, take hold of the collar at the top holding both sides and pull upwards. Decorate with the chocolate shards and buttons.
