6 WAYS TO SNACK BETTER

The trick is to have these prepped, ready and waiting for when that snacky feeling comes on. And you’ll need storage containers. Lots of small storage containers. 

  1. RAW ALMONDS OR CASHEWS

    Keep individual portions on hand. Buy them in bulk and divide into handful-sized servings. Keep them in the freezer to make sure they don't spoil before you eat them.
  2. 1 x FRUIT/ VEG + 1 x NUT BUTTER

    Celery with peanut butter, apple with almond butter, banana with basically anything. Wash and chop your celery to prepare it and freeze banana already dipped into the nut butter of your choice.
  3. CITRUS SALAD FOR THE WIN

    Peel and cut up grapefruit, oranges and mandarins and mix them together into one zingy citrus salad. Add some fresh orange juice if you need a bit more sweetness, or up the amount of grapefruit for a tarter flavour.
  4. ROAST SOME CHICKPEAS

    Place chickpeas on a baking tray and cover with your favourite spice mix. Add some chilli for extra zing and roast until crunchy. When you feel the need for chips or pretzels, dig into a handful of these instead. 
  5. FREEZE YOUR GRAPES

    Not only does this make your grapes last longer, but frozen grapes are also a yummy sorbet-like treat for those of us with a sweet tooth. 
  6. DIP IT

    Baby carrots, sugar snap peas and baby corn are all already crunchy and delish. Keep these on hand with hummus or flavoured cream cheese to level up your snacking.
