  1. FOR SUNNY AFTERNOONS

    WATERFORD ROSE-MARY

Made in the Helderberg area near Stellenbosch, the Waterford Rose-Mary rosé is an elegant option for lovers of pink wine. The result of a particularly dry and moderate season, the Rose-Mary boasts a clean and fresh flavour that will have you sipping away all summer. Strikingly blush in colour, this carefully crafted wine tastes of raspberry and its low alcohol content means it pairs perfectly with light meals.

  2. FOR DINNER PARTIES

    DIEMERSDAL GRENACHE ROSÉ
The Durbanville Valley is one of the Western Cape's oldest wine regions. Diemersdal has become a household name and, after tasting the Grenache Rosé, it's easy to see why. Full in both aroma and taste, this wine is made from whole-bunch-pressed Grenache grapes. This lends the wine a light colour and a succulent, fruity flavour. Its unique flavour makes Diemersdal's Grenache Rosé a must for dinner parties.
  3. FOR PICNICS

PIERRE JOURDAN TRANQUILLE BLUSH 2L BOX

The Pierre Jourdan Tranquille wine range holds a special place in most South African wine lovers' hearts. Originating in Franschhoek, Tranquille Blush is produced on the famous Haute Cabrière wine farm, founded by French Huguenot Pierre Jourdan. It's an elegant wine with hints of strawberry and raspberry in both taste and aroma, perfectly suited to a picnic basket packed with your favourite cheeses and charcuterie.

  4. FOR OCEAN VIEWS

    WARWICK DRY ROSÉ

Pale in colour and delicate in flavour, the Warwick Dry rosé offers a more traditional option to pink wine connoisseurs. Also from the Stellenbosch wine heartland, it boasts some of the most abundant flavours you're likely to experience, from wild strawberry to pomegranate and watermelon. The wine pairs wonderfully with seafood – treat yourself to some salmon and sip away with an ocean sunset to complete the moment.

  5. FOR LAZY SUNDAYS

    NEIL ELLIS CINSUALT DRY ROSÉ

Free of sulphites and vegan-friendly, the Neil Ellis Cinsault Dry Rosé offers a sustainable option without sacrificing any flavour. 6. FOR FISH BRAAIS

    DAVID NIEUWOUDT PIEKENIERSKLOOF CINSAULT ROSÉ

The Piekenierskloof Cinsault Rosé hails from Citrusdal, bucking the Boland trend of the other wines on this list. With a taste steeped in nostalgia, this wine captures the flavours of old, unirrigated bush vines. Delightfully crisp and perfectly balanced, it pairs beautifully with seafood.

  7. FOR ROMANTIC DATES

    PIERRE JOURDAN BELLE ROSE

The most fruit-driven wine of the Pierre Jourdan range, this Cap Classique is brimming with  strawberries and cherries, perfect for romantic meals with a partner – or even when you just need to treat yourself. Like many other rosés, the Belle Rose pairs wonderfully with seafood such as tuna and mussels and can also be enjoyed with duck.
