Coriander is a delicate herb that is common in Asian, Mexican and many other cuisines. Dried coriander leaves are the leaves of the coriander plant (Coriandrum sativum) that have been removed from the stem and dehydrated. Coriander is also known as cilantro, dhanya or Chinese parsley. 

These dried leaves offer a concentrated version of the flavour and aroma of fresh coriander and are a convenient way to add a warm, nutty, and citrusy touch to your cooking, especially in dishes where fresh coriander wouldn't hold up well.
