Snap peas or mange tout are essential in your kitchen. Ensure that you plant extra of these, as many times the deliciously sweet little pods do not even make it out of the veggie patch. Snap peas are best eaten when young, before the pods fill out and become too fibrous. Used raw or sautéed in butter, home-grown will give you the sweetest tasting snap peas you have ever eaten.

HOW TO USE

• Plant in early autumn and late winter 
• Plant the seeds 12 - 20 cm apart with 40 – 45 cm between rows.
• To ensure better and easier harvesting of your crops, give the plant support.
