Non-alcoholic party drinks

Ingredients

  • 1 L ginger ale
  • 250 ml pineapple juice
  • 4 tbsp granadilla pulp
  • 4 toothpicks
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • peaches, sliced, to garnish
  • rosemary sprigs, to garnish
  • 1 L Woolworths sparkling water
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary leaves
  • 250 ml pomegranate juice
  • 2 peaches, peeled and puréed
  • water
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate rubies

Cooking Instructions

To make the "pomegranate, rosemary and peach spritz":

  1. Make the ice cubes by placing the 1/2 cup of pomegranate seeds into an ice cube tray, cover with water, then freeze to form the ice cubes.
  2. Place the peach puree, a splash of pomegranate juice and 1 tbsp rosemary leaves into tall glasses, then stir together.
  3. Top with the ice cubes, then add the 1 L of sparkling water.
  4. Garnish with sliced peach and a rosemary sprig.
  5. Serve with a straw.

To make the "granadilla, pineapple and blueberry sparkler":

  1. Skewer some blueberries onto the 4 toothpicks, then freeze until solid, along with any remaining blueberries.
  2. Place the 4 tbsp granadilla pulp and 250 ml pineapple juice into short glasses then top with the 1 cup of frozen blueberries (these will serve as ice cubes as well as flavor the drink).
  3. Top up the glasses with 1 L ginger ale and garnish with the blueberry skewer.
