Cheesy melted club sandwich
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp butter
- 250 g woolworths streaky bacon, crisped in the oven
- 100 g mature cheddar, sliced
- woolworths oven roasted chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp dijon mustard
- 6 tbsp woolworths onion marmalade
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 cups milk
- 50 g mature cheddar, grated
- salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 1 rustica loaf

Cooking Instructions
- Slice the load open and spread the onion marmalade over the base before adding the crispy bacon. Add the sliced cheese then spread the mustard over.
- Top with the chicken breasts that have been sliced before adding the top of the bread with the cut side up.
- Prepare the cheese sauce by melting the butter then adding the flour, stir together for 30 seconds then start slowly adding the milk while whisking to prevent lumps.
- Add the grated cheese and continue whisking until all the cheese has been melted into the sauce. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
- Pour the sauce over the bread and place in the oven to grill for 10 minutes
