Keep little explorers safe in Woolies babywear

Watching your child explore their new world is one of the many joys of being a parent. From the wiggly, giggly baby to the bouncy, crawling toddler and the can’t-stop-won’t-stop days of all-out play on the playground.

Woolies kids clothes are big on fun and our range of sizes and comfortable fabrics mean you’ll get the best fit for your little one. We’re especially proud of our team of experts behind the scenes, who ensure our kids clothes are always one step ahead with these safety elements. • Broken Needle Policy

Did you know every factory that makes our kids and babywear has a broken needle policy? If a needle in a machine breaks during the manufacturing process, every piece must be collected before a new needle is issued – only then does production continue. Babywear then goes through a metal detector before it leaves the factory, and this ensures there’s absolutely no chance of any metal being left in any of our clothes. It’s just another way that Woolies makes sure your baby gets the very best, safest products.

  • Bartacked Drawcords

Kids are curious so we’ve put a special bartack behind all the draw cords on our kids garments to ensure they can’t be pulled out accidentally. It’s just another way that we make sure your little one is safe.

  • Zip Guard

We know the pain and tears involved in getting skin caught in a zipper, so our Woolies baby rompers and sleepsuits get a protective flap all along the zip to make sure tummies aren’t caught in the zipper. We also have a special triangular zip guard over the top of the zip to protect those delicious neck rolls and your little one’s face from irritation or scratching.

  • Anti-Slip Safety

We make sure you get to enjoy those first unsteady steps without worrying about slips. Our sleepsuits and socks have anti-slip silicone prints to the feet to ensure those first steps are done safely.

These give babies-on-the-move better grip as they explore their world.

  • Popper Pull Test

Super soft and stretchy clothes with popper buttons make it easier to change wriggly babies and runaway toddlers. All the poppers on our babywear undergo a special popper pull test to make sure they don’t come off and pose a choking hazard. Also, we know that rashes and irritation can be a real pain when it comes to your baby’s delicate skin. That’s why any metal poppers, zippers or trims on our products are nickel-free and non-ferrous to prevent skin irritation.
