Hurray for super salad sarmies

We’re making the salad sandwich sexy again – because a work lunch should not be a sad lunch. Time to add some cred to your bread.

The new peanut butter sarmie:

Line up slices of Cape Seed bread. Spread smooth cottage cheese, followed by smooth peanut butter. Sprinkle with some chickpeas, top with lettuce, close, squish and enjoy!

The salad sub:

Halve a mini baguette and scoop out any excess bread filling. Spread with mayonnaise, line with lettuce and layer with cucumber ribbons. Add some of last night’s leftover chicken and a good handful of julienne carrots. Delicious as an open sandwich, or top with the other bread half for the best salad sub ever.
