7 ways to enjoy broccoli:

Zesty dinner side:

Toss steamed broccoli with butter and fresh lemon juice; sprinkle with toasted sliced almonds.

Eggs for dinner:

Sauté chopped garlic and steamed broccoli in olive oil in an ovenproof skillet. Add beaten eggs, sprinkle with grated Gruyère and bake at 180° until puffed and golden.

Broccoli pasta:

Boil broccoli florets in chicken stock infused with garlic and chilli. Toss with cooked penne pasta and torn pieces of soft mozzarella and a drizzle of olive oil. Top with shavings of Parmesan and a squeeze of lemon juice.

Healthy snacking:

Blend steamed broccoli with sour cream and grated Parmesan. Serve with crudités.

Wholesome soup:

Sauté chopped onion and broccoli in olive oil. Add enough chicken broth to cover and cook until tender. Puree until smooth. Sprinkle with grated mature cheddar and serve.

Your lunch sorted:

Combine blanched broccoli florets with chickpeas, halved baby Rosa tomatoes and crumbled Feta. Drizzle with olive oil and red wine vinegar.

Chicken bake:

In an oven dish combine chopped, cooked chicken breast and chopped, cooked broccoli florets. Top with cheese sauce, grated cheese and breadcrumbs and bake in the oven until golden.
