What is UTZ Cocoa?
We’re working with an international organisation called UTZ to support responsible, and environmentally sound cocoa farming. The programme enables farmers to learn better farming methods and increase cocoa yields, improve working conditions, take better care of their children and the environment and also help prevent deforestation.
Woolworths started sourcing UTZ cocoa in 2012. We use responsibly grown and sourced UTZ Certified cocoa in Woolies branded boxed chocolates, slabs and bars. In short: better treats for you, better opportunities for cocoa farmers and their families.
