Beat breakfast boredom

Eggs might be the most obvious choice for breakfast, but that doesn’t mean you have to make them the centre of your breakfast every day. The good news is that there are plenty of alternatives out there. Oats, cottage cheese, yoghurt, tofu, nuts and seeds offer tons of ways to get your day off to a good start quickly and easily.

How about a breakfast parfait with rolled oats, yoghurt and fresh fruit? Toss in a teaspoon or two of chia seeds or raw almonds. Or maybe a breakfast smoothie made with rolled oats (soak them overnight if you prefer), low fat yoghurt, a tablespoon of peanut butter and a frozen banana. Add a little milk to the blender and whizz it up.

Cottage cheese on toast is another quick breakfast fix, and topped with slices of avo or melon is totally yummy.
