3 brilliant breakfast trends

(an oldie but goodie, with a fresh look):

Take two slices of rye toast and top with ripe avocado, a touch of chilli, fresh coriander, seeds, a squeeze of lime, and drizzle with olive oil. Yum!

(so hot right now):

Cook polenta according to the packaging instructions. Top with crispy bacon, roasted tomatoes, a poached egg and micro greens. Serve warm.

(basically, frozen yoghurt for breakfast)

Blend 40g blueberries and 150g full cream Ayrshire plain yoghurt until smooth. Drop some fresh blueberries in a popsicle mould. Top with the smoothie mix, insert an ice cream stick and freeze until set. Enjoy on your way out of the door.
