Naartjie, Lemon, Mint and Ouzo Sparkler

Serves 4
Preparation time 5 minutes

You will need:

15g mint
30ml sugar
30ml lemon juice
400ml 100% naartjie juice
60ml Greek ouzo (optional)
200ml dry lemon or soda
crushed ice, to serve
lemon wedges, to garnish

Here’s how:

  • Using a pestle and mortar, crush the mint and sugar until the sugar has partly dissolved.
  • In a cocktail shaker, combine the crushed mint, juice and ouzo (if using).
  • Pour into 4 glasses and top with dry lemon or soda and crushed ice.
  • Garnish with lemon wedges.
