Hannah Lewry

Originally a small town girl from Plettenberg Bay, Hannah Lewry is now the Consulting Food Editor at Woolworths TASTE Magazine. She's also a food stylist and writer, never dreaming there was ever a job as wonderful and rewarding as this out there.

Fresh from her gap year in London she worked with Annemarie Meintjes as a runner for VISI Magazine in Johannesburg for three months before moving to the Mother City to become a part of the Woolworths TASTE team.

She started off as assistant to award-winning and revered TASTE Food Editor Abigail Donnelly. Over the last four and half years Hannah has been privileged to grow under her expert guidance.

"Who would have thought that being raised by chefs and working summer school holidays in a hot kitchen for my family's catering business would help me to discover my absolute passion for all things food.

I love that I learn new things about food every day and working with Woolworths' superb produce to create recipes not only makes it infinitely easier, but is has to be the absolute cherry on the cake."
