Details

Honey is the sweet and viscous substance made by honey bees from the nectar they collect from flowers on bloom. The type of flower affects the colour, flavour and consistency of honey. Our beekeepers place their hives amongst the indigenous fynbos of the Western Cape, producing honey with a delicate floral taste. Choice Grade Fynbos honey procured from badger-friendly sources within South-Africa.  Fynbos is the name of the species-rich vegetation of the Cape Winter rainfall regions. Its distribution from the southwestern to southeastern Cape coincides with the natural occurrence of the Cape bee. A predominant component of fynbos honeys are produced from Ericaceae flowers.
