Cooking Instructions
Recipe You will need: Ingredients: 1 medium egg 60g butter (softened) 2.5ml Woolworths Vanilla Extract Equipment: Large mixing bowl Electrical mixer Spoon Baking Tray Non stick baking paper (optional) Cooling rack Method Preheat oven to 180°C. Cover the baking tray with greaseproof paper, or lightly grease with butter. Cream the butter and the sugar. Add the egg and beat well. Add both the cookie mix and choc chips and mix until combined. Divide dough into 8 equal sezed pieces. Gently roll balls of dough between your palms and place on the baking tray. Press down slightly to about 1 cm thickness. Bake 12-14 minutes* for soft and chewy cookies or 14 - 16 minutes* for crisp cookies. Remove from oven and leave to cool on rack. * Baking times may vary slightly, due to temperature flactuations in ovens and size of cookies. Tips for variations: Add 50g of roughly chopped nuts (eg. Macadamia, pistachio, hazelnuts) to the dough. Add 50g of raisins to the dough Add 1 table spoon desiccated coconut to the dough Substitute all or half of the chocolate chips for white chocolate chips or crushed mint chocolate. Add finely grated zest of 1 orange. Add 50g dried cranberries Dip half the cookie in melted chocolate or drizzle with melted chocolate. This mix is sufficient for 8 giant or 12 smaller biscuits.
