When we say that Woolworths beauty range is drawn from nature, we’re not only talking about the delicious natural fragrances of rose, magnolia, vanilla or grapefruit that infuse our bath and body products, we’re also talking about the fact that our active ingredients are sourced largely from sustainable botanical or marine sources.

We have replaced petrochemicals like mineral oil with natural alternatives that are kinder to the skin. For all Woolworths bath, body, skincare and make-up products, we are focused on finding alternatives to harsh chemicals. For instance, we’ve found a way to substantially reduce the amount of commonly used foaming agents and complement them with gentler alternatives. There are plenty of technical innovations too, like clever pump technology that instantly turns liquid to foam.

And it’s not only the products themselves that are more environmentally friendly: by eliminating outer packaging wherever possible and ensuring that what remains is recyclable, we’ve also reduced the impact of our products on natural resources.
